Explore contemporary art at the 21c Museum Hotel and discover the unique history of downtown Lexington. Visit the Mary Todd Lincoln House, a National Historic Landmark also on Main.
Tour the historic Keeneland Horse Race Course and Racing Track. You don't have to do a tour to visit, but you do learn interesting history on the tour.
Try lunch and a homemade soda at Kentucky Native Cafe. A must for foodies! Enjoy dining in a forest-like outdoor setting. It's a great spot to relax outdoors in Lexington.
Go tasting at a distillery on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail if you want to try some of the brews and spirits created right here in Kentucky.
Local Breweries
Visit the Lexington Distillery District. These craft distilleries run tours and offer tastings. I recommend Bluegrass Distillers or the Blue Stallion Brewing Co.
Visit a nearby Thoroughbred horse farm. Lexington is home to some of the most famous horse farms in the world, and many are open for tours. I highly recommend the Lane's End Farm tour.
Tour iconic bourbon distilleries, including Woodford Reserve and the James E. Pepper Distillery. I opted to visit Castle & Key. I enjoyed the Sunken Gardens during our tour.
